Office Manager Maria Baert is an invaluable member of our team. Having been with the Sawmill Restaurant Group for over 10 years, her commitment to quality is unmatched.

Maria’s goal is to always provide an exceptional guest experience right from the first point of contact and through to paperwork and invoicing.

Maria is a pleasure to deal with whether in person and over the phone and she always represents the Sawmill brand with style and panache.

When not at her desk, Maria will be found on the open road between here and the Gulf of Mexico with her husband.

Sauvé MacBean has been working in the hospitality field for over 10 years. As a Sawmill Events Manager and Administrative Associate, she is a crucial link from office to event execution.

Facilitating a positive can-do attitude, Sauvé is dedicated to the development of our valued personnel. With a focus on continuous improvement, she pushes our team towards the creation of an inviting atmosphere with memorable hospitality.

Her music career as a local recording artist has ensured that her talents have spread far beyond our team. We are all very proud of our association with Sauvé.

In her role both as Event Manager and Administrative Associate; Melissa Doucette believes providing superior guest satisfaction is what we are all about.

Her attention to fine detail and implementation of careful planning, makes each event flawless and stress-free. Having started as a server and later transitioning to office and management, Melissa has honed a unique insight into the needs of each client and their guests.

When she isn’t working hard at ‘staging’ special events for our guests, Melissa can often be seen on local stages, showcasing her love of musical theatre.

General Manager Paul Doucette is the ultimate host, both in his own home and especially here at the Sawmill Banquet and Catering Center.

With a mantra of “It’s not just business; it’s personal”, Paul firmly believes that “Service is not an industry; but rather it is a state of mind.”

It is with this mentality, that Paul’s passion for an exceptional dining experience radiates through every event we are a part of. Paul’s appreciation and respect for our guests as well as every person in our organization is perhaps only matched by his love for a glass of fabulous red wine.

Paul goes above & beyond to accommodate every guest, driven by the knowledge that there is nothing we can’t do or accomplish together as a team!

The Sawmill Catering & Banquet Centre is a multi-functional space, with the ability to accommodate many sizes of groups ranging from 50 to 450 guests for any occasion. In addition, we cater to groups of even wider numbers off site, offering our services to your events of 25 to 5000 or more guests!

Apart from our fabulous staff who are always there to ensure your event goes off without a hitch, our greatest strength is the variety of food we offer. We encourage you to specifically design a menu that will accommodate your tastes, and any dietary needs you or your guests may have.
